Lisa Korner Butler serves as Regional Vice President to Miller Isar,
Inc. Ms. Korner Butler is responsible for Miller Isar’s Philadelphia,
PA offices and tends to the needs of the firm’s east coast clients. Her practice
concentrates on federal and state regulatory public policy and compliance,
as well as operational matters.
Ms. Korner Butler's telecommunications industry and regulatory experience
spans more than fourteen years, and includes senior management assignments
in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations with Teleport Communications Group.
Before joining Miller Isar, Ms. Korner Butler served as Vice President of
Regulatory & Product Development for Network Plus, Inc., a $250M per year local exchange and interexchange carrier (Quincy,
Massachusetts based), where she was responsible
for the company’s market development, evaluation of new technologies, and direction of
the Company’s nationwide state and federal regulatory policy and compliance efforts.
In this capacity, Ms. Butler also secured incumbent local
exchange carrier interconnection agreements. A fierce advocate of local
competition, Ms. Korner Butler has lobbied on behalf of Network Plus and successor
BroadView Networks before State Regulatory Commissions, the Federal
Communications Commission, and the U.S. Congress, and has worked closely with national
and regional industry organizations and coalitions.
Ms. Korner Butler earned an Accounting degree from Pace University.
